This ingenious tool works on about 50% of the steering wheel locking bars,
including the type that lock the wheel to the brake pedal. There are two types
of locking devices: 1) the rigid type that require a key to remove AND install the
bar; and 2) the kind that "ratchet" into the locked position on the wheel. If it is the second type of bar, you can use this tool to quickly remove it without causing any damage. Simply grab the two halves of the locking bar and attempt to spread it one more notch. If it is completely rigid you have the first kind. But if it spreads slightly, just insert the CLUB-Shim and remove it quickly and easily, without causing damage. Made from Stainless Steel.
